On Sunday, December 21, Danbury Music Centre and Danbury Public Library present the violin duo, Les Deux, in a concert for children. The concert will begin at 1:15 pm in the StoryCorner at the Danbury Public Library, and will last approximately one hour. Admission is free. Families interested in attending are invited to register through the Danbury Public Library: online at danburylibrary.org, or call 203-797-4528.
Mary E. Larew, Executive Director of Danbury Music Centre, says, “Since 1935, the Danbury Music Centre has provided free classical music performances to the greater Danbury area. Sunday, we are honored to host the incredible Les Deux violin duo in this performance for children. When children encounter classical music early, they fall in love with it. This concert will invite kids not only to listen to the music, but also to meet these musicians and experience their performance up-close. We hope that kids will leave this concert totally inspired. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if by 2:15, the Danbury Public Library StoryCorner is filled with a new generation of aspiring musicians!”
